LSF Music Production Program

  • LSF’s Music Production Program is a state-of-the-art music platform for all underserved youth with hidden gifts and talents.

Explore all the different facets of music production with classes like:

  • Songwriting and Development: Students will expand on music theory by developing a strong sense of harmony, melody, and rhythm while exploring areas like lyrics, meter, rhyme, and song analysis.
  • Sequencing Technologies: Students will explore software-based sequencing, synthesis techniques, advanced musical and rhythmic programming, digital audio editing, and applications in musical content creation.

LSF STEAM Program

  • Our programs aim to cultivate a new generation of Thinkers, Creators, Innovators, and Leaders by leveraging the interdisciplinary facets of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEAM ) through the following:
  • Engineering Technology: It is one of the most in-depth fields in today’s society and LSF is proud to provide a creative environment to watch our Youth explore their inner engineer through building and creating. Students will be exposed to issues related to engineering practice such as working in teams, scheduling, evaluating risk, and making ethical decisions. 
  • Introduction to Code: Students will be introduced to one of the most interesting fields. Here they will learn the act of writing computer programs, which are a sequence of instructions written using a Computer. Students will have knowledge of language. How to perform a specified task by the computer

LSF Social Justice Studies Programs

  • LSF challenges our youth to clarify exactly what they are thinking. The Diversity and Social Justice course examine power and privilege in diverse populations. Students will explore contemporary and historical examples of oppression through black liberation theology. In this course, students will have the knowledge and engagement to define the term Black Liberation theology through:
  • Lectures
  • Videotapes
  • Small group exercises
  • Field study observation
  • Guest lectures
  • Instructor-student classroom Discussion

 

Students will get hands on training of how to actually create peace & unity and how to effect change in government laws. Students will engage in origins of black liberation, and nationalism, based upon black liberation theology.

LSF Arts

  • LSF is proud to offer this exciting interactive program to allow students to express themselves through dance, advance into a career of choice in ARTS. LSF performing arts program will focus on Tap, Praise Dancing, Ballet, Modern Jazz, Choreography, and Theatrical Dance.

  • LSF’s drama and theatre program provides a platform for innovative screenwriting designed for a new generation of storytellers.

    LSF Film Program Focus:

    • Film editing
    • Documentary filmmaking
    • Sound production designed for new Prolific  Sound.
    • Music Production for Media: Students will learn about the creation of music for film, TV, advertising, and other media with a focus on spotting and scoring for pictures and the composition techniques used in marketing.
     

(YMFSP) Youth moving forward Sports Platform

  • LSF’s Sports Platform is designed with the Purpose, focus of keeping our youth active. This will allow youth to process emotions and feelings through movement. fighting obesity, depression, eating disorders. this also prevails outbursts in behavior. Options include

Swimming, Girls Basketball, Soccer, Archery, Tennis, Track, Gymnastics, Lacrosse

 

LSF Creative Design Program

  • LSF’s Creative Design programs will focus on courses that will allow youth to express themselves through a distinctive style of design choice. this also prevails styles in behavior. Options include Graphic Design Painting, Drawing, Architectural Design, and Fashion Design.
